"SHART"cut

Due to the age of my parents: they no longer have any idea what words mean. My parents were in need of a new freezer for their garage.. so being the young ones in the house (also the ones who have nothing better to do than help some elderly in need) we were asked to go to Pine Valley with them to retrieve a freezer. My dad has recently discovered a different route in st george that cuts out a ton of traffic, time, road rage, etc.. So, as we were turning to get onto so called route, my mother (oh so innocent) says: is this the SHARTCUT? We all made a little giggle and said: a what?! Come to find out: she had no knowledge of the meaning of the word "shart". We then explained and now she will probably never live it down. So being Easter this last weekend: My adorable husband and myself made Easter baskets (I made Easter baskets) and then we hid them to find them the next day. During church, Dan guessed where I had hid his.. So, of course i had to re-hide his basket. It ended up in the dryer. He found it after opening every cupboard and looking in every corner in the basement. It took me a bit longer to find mine. I had help from 2 of my nieces that were visiting.. NO LUCK. I finally begged for a hint. He said: its under something you love. Well I went right for the blankets (I sleep with 6) and still nothing. We searched for another 10 minutes and I FINALLY found it underneath my bag of soccer balls in the water heater closet. THANK HEAVENS. Dan and I decorated Easter eggs. Dan did some crazy things on his.. One said: baby inside. there were a lot of people thinking it was some announcement about me having a baby inside. FALSE. No baby inside. :( i wish there was... but unfortunately the battle for patience learning is still in process. I had some cool ones.. But people seemed more interested in Dan's ridiculous eggs. Oh well. As of right now.. Dan is gone getting a truck in blanding while I'm here without him. Things are dull, lonely and boring when he's gone. Hopefully he gets back sooner than later. I have been catching up on chick flicks and the biggest loser while he's been gone though. I guess that's the only positive part of this (I hate when Dan's gone) experience. Wish me luck for the next day. WELL.. Until next time..
